A long way from 1910

First blog. And here we are, a long way from 1910 when our little heaven on wheels was first seen.

I decided to set this blog up to chart the history of the van before we found it, and also our own history with her.

It's a very long tale to tell, and so while I frantically type up notes and scan in pictures, here are some pictures showing the recent restoration of the roof and the van's subsequent first weekend out in years. She had so much interest over the course of the weekend that I thought it my duty to share her history and beauty with anyone who would benefit from it!
